Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was nice but very small, and sadly our room didn't have windows, so we missed the daylight. We expected a tub in the room too. It was worth £300 for one night personally, but it was a little hot. Thought we might get an upgrade as it was my birthday.
The hotel offers a 5-star boutique experience with great interior design. The rooms are incredibly well executed, very relaxing, and decorated to a very high standard. The staff is fab, very polite, and breakfast was amazing with inspiring views of the home town while dining.
The hotel offers snug, quirky, and beautifully decorated rooms. Spending £300 plus a night could have been more rewarding, especially with a large shower instead of a bath. The service was a mixed bag, with some staff being stuck up but others like Antonio being polite and professional. The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk to the city center. The dining experience was nice, although some dishes were not as expected. However, the hotel is a bit overpriced for what it offers.
The hotel offers a mix of delightful surprises and minor letdowns. The rooms impress with their unique charm and spaciousness, yet some may find the windowless options less appealing. The service is generally attentive and thoughtful, especially when it comes to special occasions. The location is central and convenient for exploration, though a few guests may feel it falls short in size. Dining experiences may vary, with some delicious options but occasional service hiccups. Overall, an intriguing stay with a blend of highs and lows.
The hotel is located perfectly for exploring the city, just a short walk from the center of Manchester. The rooms have lovely touches but are noisy, allowing sounds from outside and through the walls. The staff were excellent and made the stay a delightful treat, offering friendly service and thoughtful gestures. The dining options were limited and overpriced, impacting the overall experience.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms are tucked away in a nice quiet part of the second floor, and my Inner Sanctum suite was beautiful with a striking pink chaise longue at the end of the bed. The great coffee machine and the amazing bathroom added to the experience. Everything was lovely and clean, but the service charge wasn't adequately explained on my receipt which was a downside. The staff across the hotel were excellent, making my stay a real treat. The location couldn't have been better, within a 5-minute walk to the center of Manchester. The dining experience at the Honey restaurant was a bit of a let down, with slow service and some food not meeting my expectations.
The Gotham Hotel is situated in a beautiful location, perfect for exploring the city, surrounded by shops and bars. The room size in the Gotham Suite was a bit cramped without windows, but the bathroom had decent space minus a bath.
The hotel offers really nice rooms that are clean, luxurious, and comfortable with attention to detail, although there are some decorative issues like water damage in the bathroom. I enjoyed the quirkiness of the hotel. The service, on the other hand, felt a bit stuck up at times but also had enjoyable moments. The location is fantastic, with broken aspects that can be a bit of a pain, yet very close to all the shops and restaurants. The dining experience, despite being pedestrian at times, had some good elements with minor flaws. Overall, the facilities were good, though with room for improvement in certain aspects.
The hotel offers luxurious and extremely well-designed rooms with lovely extra touches, impeccable cleanliness, and comfortable surroundings. The service is reflected in the staff's pride, warmth, and friendliness. The location provides stunning views and walkable convenience, although some areas may lack atmosphere. The dining experience can be improved, although room service is prompt. Overall, a great stay with excellent room quality and service.
The hotel had a really nice room setup with a center TV console, though a little small, it was spotless and enjoyable. However, it could have used a full-length mirror. The service was friendly, efficient, and professional but may not stand out compared to other hotels in the area offering larger rooms at a similar price. The location was perfect for shops, restaurants, and close to transportation, making it a convenient choice. The dining experience varied from an exceptional a la carte breakfast to some staff shortcomings with gluten-free options. The facilities were satisfactory for a comfortable stay.
